“I am not happy.” Ancelotti talks about the reason for the draw against Mallorca

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti revealed on Sunday evening that he was not pleased after his team was held to a 1-1 draw by Real Mallorca in the opening round of La Liga.

Speaking to the newspaper "Marca" after the match, Ancelotti said, "I'm not happy with the draw because we could have performed better. We needed to show more strength."

He added, "But I don't want to make excuses. It was a game we could have lost because we lacked balance. It wasn't a good match; we are a very attacking team, and defensive balance is a crucial part."

Ancelotti continued, "This match can help us learn a lot; it was a fairly clear game where we encountered problems."

The Real Madrid coach explained, "The defensive side wasn't good. We struggled to recover the ball and to press after losing it. When we talk about defense, we're primarily talking about collective commitment."
